What did the organization need:
Due to intense growth, company needed to strengthen and develop managerial competencies in selected employee groups.
Duration: since 2019
For whom? Leaders and Warehouse managers
This project was initially dedicated to 9 groups of leaders. Over time, it has grown both in terms of the number of groups and content. Today, the Development Academy has become an ongoing project, with new leaders joining the project on an ongoing basis. Each training is a separate unit, allowing the participants to work at the same level, without the sense of knowing less than others.
After 2019 we had to face changing the method of conducting the project. During the COVID-19 pandemic trainings were done online – our surveys confirmed that this change didn’t result in declining quality and the participants’ engagement and activity was very high.
The project starts and ends with an internal assessment of participants’ competencies in the form of tests assessing the attitude, skills and knowledge, as well as discussions with the supervisor and HRBP to set development goals for the duration of the project, and further career goals after its completion. Both the supervisors and HRBP are prepared in advance by Integra trainers. Throughout the project, Integra trainers meet with HRBP periodically to discuss the course of the project and the outcomes at a particular stage. Before the start of the project the participants receive Project Record Books – project guides along with Competencies Sheets and a list of implementation tasks. This allows them to clearly see project objectives and own progress.
