Kaizen is a Japanese-style suggestion system, a strategy of continuous improvement and consistent waste elimination with a simultaneous engagement of all employees. This approach is based on the idea that small, ongoing positive changes (kaizens) implemented by the employees in their work environment contribute to company growth, improvement and competitive advantage.
This methodology is applied in both manufacturing and service environments. Case study analysis offers a chance to learn about the best developed practices in Polish and international companies, identify the milestones and potential risks that can occur during the implementation or reactivation of the suggestion system. The participants learn how to use the PDCA cycle to effectively plan, implement, monitor and standardize the implemented improvements.
