Business coaching is a method that allows a manager, with a help of a coach, to identify important business goals. Coaching process is based on reinforcing maximum efficiency and implementing specific skills while working with a coach who supports and monitors progress.

It is a universal method of increasing personal and managerial effectiveness – aimed at people that previously participated in various trainings to improve their personal and managerial skills, as well as those who never experienced professional development.

Main goals of business coaching:

  • Change the perception of the coachee situation – from a problem to a goal that will be achieved;
  • Goal – through the coaching process and during each session – is a starting point for coaching work. It is a responsibility of the coach to organize the entire process in a way that focuses the coachee on the goal;
  • Work on changing behaviors and attitudes;
  • Work with resources: discover and develop strengths while overcoming weaknesses at the same time;
  • During each training session the coach will use various tools, ask questions, assign tasks, inspire and enforce a belief in a successful development process.

The coaching process includes not only training sessions when the coach actually meets with the coachee, but also the time in between the sessions, when the coachee works on developing skills and implementing them into everyday work.

Coachee, with the assistance of his/her coach, has a chance to a take a close look at himself/herself, reflect upon his/her actions in certain situations and think about the reasons for actions. It is the role of the coach to share his/her observations and pose questions that stimulate reflection and different perception. The coachee analyses various possibilities, looks for solutions and makes conscious decisions: what to improve and what to change. At this point, the coach steps in to help with analyzing various options and planning future actions.
