A3 report is a structured process of information exchange and problem solving that outlines a clear step-by-step course of action. It is an effective tool that helps with fact-based decision-making and with the implementation of effective countermeasures, which in turn improve the organizational performance.
A3 report is a structured process of information exchange and problem solving that outlines a clear step-by-step course of action. It is an effective tool that helps with fact-based decision-making and with the implementation of effective countermeasures, which in turn improve the organizational performance.
The popularity of A3 report results from its universal format that allows you to collect and save a sufficient amount of good quality data. Left side of the A3 report is the problem analysis - using measurable data, it describes how a given problem affects the organization and searches for root causes.
Right side of the A3 report defines the goals of changes and expected results. It ensures proper monitoring, results measurement and solution standardization, as well as develops management of best solutions used in the organization.
This method is especially recommended for solving problems on the spot. We offer support in implementing the A3 worksheet in the organization – during training based on a workplace case study, the participants focus on practical problem solving using A3 report in order to ensure proper implementation of A3 worksheet in the organization.
