Assertiveness in management

For whom?

Would you like to learn how to express your opinions, thoughts and feelings, give and receive compliments? Would you like to find out how to give and receive feedback and constructive criticism, how to say “no” and accept refusal? According to Henry Ford “If there is any one secret of success, it lies in the ability to get the other person's point of view and see things from that person's angle as well as from your own”. Our course will help you discover just that.

For whom?

Main goal of the assertiveness course is to teach behaviours that will increase your own comfort, work efficiency and promote open, direct communication. What else?

  • Learn about the basic rules of assertive attitude and confront your current beliefs with the newly acquired knowledge;
  • Learn about various assertive communication techniques that will help you improve and develop assertive attitude;
  • Increase your self-awareness of how your own behaviour influences others – supervisors, employees, co-workers;
  • Learn how to communicate in difficult situations;
  • Learn how to say “no” assertively, how to give feedback and execute previous arrangements;
  • You will have a chance to share experiences and get familiar with good assertive communication practices.

As mentioned above - assertiveness can be learned but it takes time and practice. That’s why our “Assertiveness in management” course, offered online or onsite at a customer location, is split between practical workshops and training (60%) and theory presentation with discussion (40%).
