Lean – process development
Process improvement is the key to increased revenue and cutting costs in the organization. Shop Floor Management is a method of diagnosing and eliminating waste by developing and managing the shop floor operations, inventory, equipment, workers and leadership skills.
This course consists of several implementation phases. However, it is crucial to adapt it to the customer needs. Therefore, we strongly emphasize a partnership relationship with the customer to accommodate the company specifics and the individual needs. We apply the right lean tools (resulting from the daily waste identification using Shop Floor Management method) that enable you to reduce lead time and use less resources, both financial and human, as well as reduce floor space.
Shop Floor Management changes the organizational culture towards improving value-adding processes which, in turn, allows the company to be more flexible and capable of effectively responding to changing market needs. Important goal of SFM is to build a response system to process deviations, without the unnecessary delay. Effective operational meetings contribute to the verification of the results in terms of the objectives and enable planning, implementation, control and standardization of solutions in short cycles.
In this project we also focus on teaching the skills of waste identification in various processes, gaining the ability to visualize and manage them, making the right decisions based on effective cause and effect analysis, and finally, stabilizing and sustaining the results of the implemented changes.
We implement the new rules of management based on communication in short cycles and effective meetings. We create leaders capable of developing not only processes but also their subordinates, who, in the long run, will be responsible for waste identification and continuous improvement of processes in the organization.
