TPM is an approach that, thanks to employee engagement, regularly eliminates all waste in both production and administration areas. Waste is defined as everything that doesn’t add value to the manufactured product. The key elements of TPM culture implementation are strong leadership and clear course of action for the company, with every employee involved in the implementation process. Identified waste is eliminated in a structured way (PDCA), with a strong emphasis on practical activities in the production areas.
This system consists of 9 pillars based on proper change management, leadership and ownership attitude.
Main goal of TPM is to eliminate all waste while the systematic TPM approach leads to high employee engagement and equally important measurable financial results of the company.
